Renewable Energies Creating Jobs
·  TEHRAN Dec 01 (Shana)--Renewable energies could play a crucial role in creating new job opportunities, head of Iran Renewable Energy Organization (SUNA) yousef Ardmouli said.
·  Addressing at Electricity, Employment and Industry Seminar in Gilan University, Ardmouli said development of renewable power plants could create many jobs so that generating each megawatt of electricity through renewable energies is expected to create 15 jobs.  
SUNA chief further noted that expanding renewable energies sector is conducive to lessening environmental problems especially release of greenhouse gases.
He said wind power plants including Manjil power plant in Gilan province as one of the largest wind power plants in the Middle East have enough potential for generating more than 40 thousand megawatts of electricity.
Managing director of Electricity Company of Gilan District,  Karim Azadegan was the other key speaker of the seminar who said power industry is a very capital intensive, expertise and time-consuming industry adding building each power plant in the country takes 4 years to complete.
According to him, generating each kilowatt of electricity needs two thousand dollars in investment as well as experts familiar with new methods of running power industry.
